...can't believe you haven't been fired from your day job because you've spent the last X number of weeks planning, sketching, plotting, and reading for your SFG....when you should have been working!

...you can't look at any existing flower or plant bed, anywhere, without thinking of replacing the soil with Mel's Mix.

Don't worry, one of my friends is a construction worker, and loves his garden.

you might be an SFG if:
-The first thing you do when you get home from work is check out the garden.
-Your favorite place to relax is just sitting in the garden.

save worms after a rain to put in your garden, compost pile, or worm hotel.
(I always saved them anyway but now I have another reason)

when someone asked a garden question you answer with something that can only work if they use Square Foot Garden methods.

....if you dream about mixing the peat, perlite/vermiculite, and 5 different compost bags after mixing them forever while you were awake to fill the SFG frames you made.

...never have clean fingers when you enter or leave the house, because you have to stop to pull a weed, smooth over a patch of disturbed earth, check for sprouts...

If you go out to your SFGs at night and look at them with night vision binoculars.

.....looking at vermiculite through night vision binoculars makes it look like a thousand little lights lit up.
