First snow today in Ottawa, Canada. Harvested our last carrots yesterday. Still have kale to harvest. Parsnips will stay in the ground until Spring. Garlic was planted in October for harvest in July 2023.

Not much gardening today with about 6" of new snow. Under the snow, in front of the greenhouse, are some of the 18" high raised beds.

Arctic Blast reaching Arkansas. -2*F this early morning. My California daughter has never lived anywhere where there is more than 1/4" snow on the ground every 10 years. Her California winter clothing isn't cutting it lol!
