Butterbaby Hybrid Squash (Butternut)
While browsing the new Seeds n' Such seed catalog I found this new hybrid Butternut introduction that advertises itself as single-serving, and ideal for trellising. We always grow a lot of Butternut squash for our winter food, but the large fruits always leave a lot of leftovers -- this year we harvested 26 Butternut squash. This new "Butterbaby" sounds like each one would be one meal for the two of us. This may be an excellent new variety for me to try next year by planting it in one of the arbor raised beds, and training it up over the arbor. Maybe one plant on each end of the 12' raised bed arbor.

Re: Butterbaby Hybrid Squash (Butternut)
I grow an individual sized butternut squash called Butterscotch. I like it for its size. I get it from Pinetree Seeds.
