Ditto.
The problem I'm having is that I'm not at all ready for winter....not even close...

Re: Holy snow Batman!
Scorpio Rising and brianj555, I have not been able to replicate the problem that you have encountered with my photos. I can see the photos in the posts and when I click on them it takes me to www.serving.com (where they are stored) to see an enlarged view.
You may want to run a virus scan and/or malware scan on your devices. Are you both viewing them on Apple (e.g., iPad) devices?
Is there anyone else who has had problems viewing the photos? Please let me know.

TD's photos are showing fine for me also. I am running Windows 7. (remember TD's old photos won't show because of the change in the terms of the old picture hosting server but the new ones should show fine). TD - I was going back thru the old microgreen thread and many of your older pictures are gone. Such a shame.

Re: Holy snow Batman!
Thanks yolos. I could probably find some of those missing photos and repost them. Then again I may just post new photos if I get my microgreens started.yolos wrote:TD's photos are showing fine for me also. I am running Windows 7. Re: Holy snow Batman!
A beautiful night for a walk in the neighbourhood and a nearby small park. We have a couple of inches of fresh snow on the ground and more falling. There is no wind at all. The air is cold and crisp. The snow crunches under foot. Many of the neighbours have their outdoor Christmas lights turned on. It's very quiet and peaceful. I really enjoyed the walk.

Re: Holy snow Batman!
Sanderson, if I get the courage to brave the cold I'll take some photos for you. But right now at 9:30 in the morning the temperature is -15F (-26C) and with the wind it feels like -36F (-38F). We are close to the number when it is the same in C and F (i.e., -40). So for now I am staying bundled up inside the house.sanderson wrote:This is my personal favorite thread. For Canada's 150th birthday the government spent over $5 million to build a skating rink on Parliament Hill. There was supposed to be a youth hockey tournament taking place this week on that rink. However, it's too cold so the games have been moved indoors.

Re: Holy snow Batman!
For the past few days we had above freezing daytime temps and even some rain so our snow was starting to disappear. However, we got more today.sanderson wrote:Keep Sanderson happy this winter and post your snow photos.

Re: Holy snow Batman!
I totally get this! I found aphids on my indoor parsley this morning and immediately stuck it outside on Miss Lilly's railing to freeze the little...critters.
BUT, I quickly realized that the freezing temps would kill my beautiful parsley so I brought it back in and made a big mess spraying them off in the kitchen sink.
Problem solved (I hope).

One cannot have it both ways, CC. Quick thinking there.
I do that with fruit flies om my compost stuff indoors. Take it outside in the cold and that's the last of the b_____s.
