Holy snowfalls, Batman!
I am also a huge weather dork and am just sitting around my mucky weather day watching The Weather Channel in the background.
PNW'rs, where is Mt. Baker? They are supposedly flirting with a season's record of 1200 inches of snow? What the heck hardiness zone are they in, and what is that frost date?
I saw a reporter on a roadside, towards the top of the mountain no doubt, but he mentioned he was 6'2" tall.....and the snow on the side of the road was still a couple feet over his head! And, forecasters say the area is expecting a couple more feet soon.
All I could say was OMG! What does an evergreen do when it's only 3 feet tall?
