Re: Senseless Banter...
The Decorah Eagles have absconded to a new nest away from the cameras. They are brooding but we cannot know for sure how many eggs they have until the eaglets hatch and pop their heads above the nest rim. In the mean time, here is another raptor cam. Red tailed hawk in Ithica, NY. Thanks Cornell ornithology.

bahahaha I LOVE SQUIRRELS! They are so crafty. I had one when I was a teenager for a short period of time. It was so cool, one of the coolest pets I've ever had. I had to turn it loose though. I just can't keep animals cooped up.

Our Bird Feeder - Squirrels Spin and Spin and Spin
camprn wrote:Mission Impossible!
Oh my goodness... that was hilarious!
We have a a bird feeder with a platform that spins if anything heavier than a bird perches on it. The squirrels hang on for life and spin, and spin and spin. Very entertaining (and I think they might like it... otherwise they wouldn't keep doing it!).
Here is a YouTube video of a very extreme example of a squirrel spinning (ours only hang on for a few rotations):

I laughed.
I think my sunflower plant can take me in a fair fight...it's taller than me, and it keeps giving me dirty looks.

It was an early 1960's era spoof news item on the British Broadcasting Corporation ( BBC )on April 1 st . Notice the rediculous voice commentary that was the trade mark of the BBC in those days .
Spaghetti was not something one would normally associate with the meat & two veg evening meals of the UK War, rationing had not long been ended and very few of the population knew what spaghetti was.
During the second world war my father walked the length of Italy as well as other places carrying the base mount tripod of a Vickers machine gun , he loathed spaghetti as it was their staple diet most of the time .
He bust out laughing when the spoof was shown & explained it to us four kids .

Great videos!
Boston police, FBI, and a citizen all did an amazing job! Hopefully Boston can get some semblance to normalcy. Prayers for all affected by this senselessness!

An interesting name for Spiderwort AKA Tradescantia.
I bought a plant at our local Gardening Club sale, just as they were packing up.
Naturally I Googled it. (Actually, Goodsearched it because 1 cent goes to charity.)
