Try to not pull out a lot more than you need and pull it out straight and try to keep it flat as you go. As soon as you tip it, it starts coming to life! I can't count how many times I have gotten it all tangled up.

Re: Senseless Banter...
Have you ever been cleaning the carpets in the home or the car with a suction cleaner and found there's a bit of fluff , thread or something that you just cant pick up with the vacuum no matter how many times your try or what ever angle you work from ?
So you have to bend down and pick it up .. then what do you do with it .. chuck it back on the floor ???

You shove it into the end of the vac so it gets sucked up....or put it in your pocket along with all the other numerous things to be put away and crud you've picked up.

My thing is David, I will try to suck it up for 15 minutes rather than take 5 seconds to bend over and pick it up.

I have found that if I take the loose end of the plastic and adhere it to the counter top I Winn more than I loose.

And rather than pick it up, I'd probably take the vacuum to the garage for an autopsy to figure out why it wasn't sucking properly

It's the opposite at my house. Hubby is the MASTER of the plastic wrap, while I always end up with a crinkly, shiny rope!

Nah...they just spent the morning destroying a freshly planted SFG box-they're exhausted!
Re: Senseless Banter...
I used to call this one my 'gardening buddy' because she'd always show up to keep me company when I was out tending the garden.
Then she grew up, and discovered the pleasure of using MM as a litter box. She's become my biggest garden pest.
Countermeasure:
So far, so good.

Re: Senseless Banter...
Those cats.... don't have their eyes open and look very limp. Also, I've never seen several cats in such close proximity, including my own. I'm still concerned about that photo.

Re: Senseless Banter...
Cuddling, yes. Total limpness and eyes apparently open and distant, no.
I'd like to see a clearer photo.
I'll admit that it's been almost four years (05/30) since my beloved Princess passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I'll never forget her final "meow" while I was pruning my tomatoes. I meowed back, but when I looked at her, her eyes were fixed and staring, and I knew she was
gone.
I picked her up, cuddled her in my arms, and cried.
