That Kohlrabi looks pretty healthy to me!
I've never tried this veggie before; what does it taste like? I assume it's a brassica?

They taste like mild turnips! Better late than never! I grow a purple variety, and they are really pretty too!donnainzone5 wrote:That Kohlrabi looks pretty healthy to me!

Re: Today's Harvest
The "white" peppers are actually light yellow. They must have been in one of my bell pepper packs of seeds because I did not buy any of these. They are called Slovano Peppers. Here is a description of the peppers.Scorpio Rising wrote:Thank goodness we have you guys to keep our appetites alive vicariously! Beautiful! Yolos, what do the white peppers taste like? Sweet Pepper ‘Slovana Hybrid’
"A ‘Slovana’ Pepper plant produces a nonstop summer harvest of tasty, neon-golden sweet peppers. This new variety is a compact grower. (The plants are just 17-26 inches tall, so they fit nicely into even the smallest garden spaces. ‘Slovana’ Pepper also grows well in containers.)A ripe ‘Slovana’ pepper is 6 inches long and 2 inches wide that starts out light green in color but matures to a handsome pale yellow. The 4½-ounce fruits boast a rich pepper flavor with a delicate sweetness that’s delicious both fresh or roasted."
My plants were bigger than the above description and they did keep producing all summer. They are still pumping out peppers.

Re: Today's Harvest
Not a bountiful harvest, and the pumpkin was two weeks late for Halloween, but a good learning exercise. Now what to put in the vacated squares?

Re: Today's Harvest
Thanks Donna & Scorpio. It took me 3 years, but I finally have something to show for all the hard work and frustration.
