I was watching her de-fur some sort of animal that may have been a red squirrel. It was brutal but still fascinating.

Good to know, my 11yo, rabbit owning daughter would freak if she saw that. She just got her 4H book to show her rabbit and there's a section on rabbits for meat that show how to butcher the rabbits. I paper clipped the section together so she didn't have to see it.

I'm not sure... I read some one saying they will probably fledge in June. But I think they may remain dependent on their parent fow a little while after that.
