It surprised me several years ago to discover that being a vine if the conditions are right it can produce all year round .. made sense when I though of it .
Just like any overwintering prennial .. Apparently they can produce for around seven years in the right conditions.

That's amazing, especially with the other picture with the "results". I wonder if I can get our "monster" tomato plant to do that?? That thing is 12' across again! Thanks for sharing Smile

Anyone catch the meteor shower earlier today? I went outside at 3:30a.m. for about 45 minutes and saw nothing. Previous showers always resulted in something. At least it was a gorgeous clear night. Coyotes were out screaming their victory dance, that was a little creepy.

There is a good explanation HERE about why the number of observable shooting stars during the 2012 Leonid Meteor shower was less than you may want whilst freezing outside in the predawn hours. Like a Star @ heaven

Maybe next time I should announce a meteor shower beforehand.
This was the first time in my life I heard the coyotes. My family has heard them (plus owls) from inside the house but my ears aren't like they use to be.
