Is there any other views of this area? I just wonder how high up this is and what it looks like from a distance. Earlier I saw a creature with four legs walk by in the background. I think it was a moose

At the very bottom of the page there are some FAQs and answers.RoOsTeR wrote:Is there any other views of this area? I just wonder how high up this is and what it looks like from a distance. Earlier I saw a creature with four legs walk by in the background. I think it was a moose
In a cottonwood tree on a farm in Decorah, IA. a nesting pair of Bald Eagles:
- How high is the nest? About 80 feet.
- How big is the nest? About 6 feet across, about 5 feet deep; it weighs close to 1367 lb.
- How old is the nest? The eagles built it in 2007. A previous nest close by fell when a windstorm broke one of the branches.
Here is video at ground level, the real human perspective.

3 chicks this morning! [/quote]
I went there yesterday and mom was just sitting, not a lot to see, so I just left the sound on while I did other things on the computer. A little bit later I heard the babies cheeping and was able to show my little girls the mama feeding her babies. Very cool!
