Today I picked the last of the Beit Alpha cucumbers in the greenhouse, and removed the vine from the raised bed to the compost bin. Then the raised bed was refreshed with new compost and some coffee grounds to get it ready for fall planting

The Marketmore cucumbers on the arbor are starting to produce now so the greenhouse plant was no longer needed. The Beit Alpha in the greenhouse, where there are no pollinators, was much more productive than I expected.

It has been so miserable outside, that I haven’t been out there! Things are dying….I quit caring

We've had highs in mid 90s all week.. night storms tues-wed with 3.69" of rain, then another 1/65" last night. High of 85 today so not as bad.

Planted greens for fall Saturday and many of my plant babies are up already.
