Mel's Mix

This is my 2nd year. My crops last year were a bit disappointing and are behind schedule this year (no spinach, no sign of any squash or cucumber at day 55 after planting). Is it possible the mix does not have enough nutrients? I did replenish the compost this spring and did "cheat" by adding some vegetable food a few weeks ago. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Gary

Welcome to the forum, Gary! Sorry to hear that vegetables are not producing well It is possible that your MM does not have enough nutrients to feed the plants, but without know what ingredients you used to make your MM it is impossible to make any recommendations. What types of compost did you use to make the mix, and in what quantities? How many types of compost did you use? Was there any manures included in the mix? The more detail you can provide, the more help members will be able to provide.
