Well, I'm jealous. I got 2 yellow squash this summer. Period.

I got 2, there were babies on there. Checked yesterday—gone! I’m sure the squirrels have figured out the flowers and babies are edible. Plant is damaged too.

hmmmm
I have another solution that seems to be working. I put all of my excess zucchini and cucumbers on the tailgate of my truck with a free sign and post on the neighborhood facebook page. So far 18 cucumbers and 12 zucchini have found new homes. Having a fit with the squash bug so the zucchini numbers are down a bit this year. 5 zucchini plants and 3 cucumber plants going strong

You were lucky! They set all of the Zucchini off onto the ground, and took my truck!

And, see, I'd LOVE to get someone to give me some zukes right now. (No garden this year...) I've found out that you can dehydrate or freeze dry them & then grind them into flour. Then that flour can be used to replace up to 1/3 flour in your regular recipes.

I can't imagine a summer without Zucchini, AM. That would be tough! We had Stuffed Zucchini for dinner last evening, and I'll be having the leftovers for lunch today. Yum, yum....
