adding compost yearly

When adding compost to an established bed, is this all that needs to be added. No vermiculite or peat. Has not gone down a lot.

Correct, no need to make more MM, just add compost. After a number of years it may be necessary to refresh the vermiculite and peat in the bed to help retain moisture and provide friability, but to bring the soil back up to level just add more compost. I generally have to add about 2" of compost each year.
