Re: How's the Weather Where You're At?
Temps have been low, for even December, in the broad daylight! Below average until at least tomorrow.
Still not terribly cold like December, 2017 was...

Still TDC (Too Dang Cold) here in New Orleans. However, the sun is out, the skies are clear, and the garden is happy! Not too bad.
Weather where I am
Hi from Suffolk, UK
It was a very wet October and November and December is just the same so far. Hardly seen the sun, just day after day of cloud and rain.
We are on heavy clay at home at the ground squelches when you walk on it. Fortunately our allotment is much lighter soil so it drains quicker.

Re: How's the Weather Where You're At?
I keep seeing freezing snow scenes on the news channels. How is everyone doing as far as heating, travel and even the winter gardens? It's one thing to have snow or freezing, but it looks like the wind factor or lake influences in some areas are severe.
Re: How's the Weather Where You're At?
It's windy here north of Atlanta. 23 a couple of moments ago. Glad we winterized the windows yesterday! No rain/snow (yet).
Mom (2 hours north) is supposed to be getting snow until about 8 am. Then just wind.
Stay safe! Don't forget your animals...

Re: How's the Weather Where You're At?
Bitterly cold and windy today, with about 6" of snow blown into 3' high drifts. Was -12ºF at 6:30am, and it supposed to get up to 0ºF for a high today. When it gets daylight, I may try to take a couple pictures if the camera doesn't freeze...

Re: How's the Weather Where You're At?
Northern Alabama. We have been bracing for bitter cold, snow and ice after milder temps yesterday. ( I traversed parking lots without my jacket. ) Ztarted misting at 5pm, then drizzling by 7pm. I spoke to a friend 1.5hrs west of us at 8pm, 1/2"snow as the front hit them. ( And already 2 house fires from old kerosene heaters. )
We were expecting at least closed roads and black ice. But this morning, it's clear roads here, a bit of blown snow, sunny! Our sheltered thermometer shows 11F but the weather app shows 2F! Very out of our box to have single digits much less low temps that low!
Have not looked at veggies under greenhouse covers yet. Should have harvested yesterday.
