Re: Senseless Banter...
This has nothing to do with gardening but I wanted to show the bad weather conditions we have been experiencing. We had a really wintery, snowy, windy day in Ottawa on Sunday. It was also the day on which the Eastern Final for the Canadian Football League was held in Ottawa. The video below shows the horrible conditions during the game. Thankfully Ottawa won and our team is going to the Grey Cup Championship game next weekend.

Re: Senseless Banter...
I caught a glimpse of it in TV and thought, Brrr!
I expect the weather did not bother them much, one keeps warm while playing outdoor sports, like I did when playing field hockey at school in the winter.
It's funny that in England, football (soccer) was always a winter sport, alternating with cricket in the summer. Here in Canada, they play soccer in the summer.

Re: Senseless Banter...
Very well done; it made me laugh as well. Horses don't really laugh like that; do they?

TV Antenna and cord cutting
I think I posted about cord cutting and got some good advice, but I can't find the thread. Does anyone have any experience with this product. The video is halfway down the web page.
Thank you.

Reading my new "Park Seed" catalog and waiting for my winter garden to grow.
Well
I
Got
my
New
catalog
from
Park Seed today and thought I'd go out and sit in my winter garden and look through
the catalog and wait for my garden to grow. MAN, it's really cold here in Illinois today.

Husband goes to bed, falls asleep in 90 secs. Wife goes to bed, falls asleep after visiting every possible subject just one more time, tweaking everything she decided was final while brushing her teeth.trolleydriver wrote:Men brains and women brains. It finally all makes sense.
