I've been medically retired for 21 years, the first twenty years of retirement are the worst , after that every day is a holiday , just like the first 20 years were .

Re: Senseless Banter...
Hunter got to go home yesterday afternoon, we were so happy for the kids. They've been sleeping in his hospital room since he was born on Thursday. He got a clean bill of health and the air bubble had completely dissolved.
My hubby got sick after me so neither of us will go see him until we're both better I still haven't gotten to hold him, but at least he's well.

CC ... I do have both but I think I will use the wood from my SFG boxes to build a compost bin.

Re: Senseless Banter...
I do not follow the book of Mel completely but will never give up raised b ed gardening style. The 3 inches of rain that has fallen already today is partly why but the engineer in me loves the grid system and organized planting style.

YOU forgot!? I didn't even KNOW! All day yesterday I was putting 4/2/16 on everything at work.

Reminds me that this afternoon I weeded one of my SFG beds and pulled up four carrots. I don't think I need this machine yet.
Re: Senseless Banter...
I don't need it either. Mine are a small 6" variety. Some how I pictured field workers pulling up a handful of carrot tops, twisting them off and laying the carrots in a moving box holder thingy.
