Red error indicator
When I make a spelling error in the body of a post it's highlighted automatically by underlining in a red wiggly line .
As I have a bit of an age related & medically induced Dyslexia thing , being able to see an error readily is very useful .
Is there any way for me to change the colour indicator line for I've noticed I'm having difficulty in seeing recognising the red line ?
As a result I'm making some really bad typo's inmy posts

Re: Senseless Banter...
I expect this is a global setting which if changed would change how it looks for everyone on the forum. Do you want a thicker line or a different colour or both?plantoid wrote:When I make a spelling error in the body of a post it's highlighted automatically by underlining in a red wiggly line .

Perhaps sanderson (forum administrator) could check to see if it even can be changed.
Another approach (not elegant) would be to use the Zoom feature in your browser to increase the viewing size of everything. Or you could increase the font size in the post window and then reduce it back to normal before posting. However, when I tried these ways it did not seem to increase the thickness of the red squiggle line.

Re: Senseless Banter...
IMPORTANT Follow up to Plantoid's question about Spell Checker wiggly line.
Plantoid ... Which browser are you using?
I think the red wiggly line is put there by the browser's spell checker not by the forum software. I just did a check and turned off my Chrome Spell Checker and the red wiggle lines in misspelled words disappeared.
Windows 10 also has a built in Spell Checker that can be turned on or off.
It looks to me that the forum admin can do nothing about this. I think it is windows and/or internet browser dependent.

Re: Senseless Banter...
Please keep in mind, everyone, that Spell Checker (and the like) all too frequently mark what's correct as incorrect. It's especially bad when it comes to punctuation.
Re: Senseless Banter...

Re: Senseless Banter...
WE had a wonderful day yesterday and I guess I got a lil silly. I cant wait to get it all blogged into a garden report with pics and videos and such but it takes a few days to do it. Videos of doggys at play and my silly self require editing and such. It takes time to load it all on to the web and even longer to tell the tale. Finding the time to do it is tough too but we will try. Today is rest day and foot ball.
Re: Senseless Banter...
Looking forward to your update and I have read those words before but not the second paragraph which was harder.
Re: Senseless Banter...
WEll shucks here I am doing the last of our tasks and its hot and sweaty again. Cooling off now but 80 earlier and the muggys are back. I hung 6 solar powered led lights along the facia boards of house and shed on the dark sides. We have been having a few varmint problems as they burn the suger cane fields. Hoping the light will spook them if not itl show me where to shoot the varmit 22 rifle that stays propped by the door.

Re: Senseless Banter...
Interesting. I'm so fixated on SFG that I kept thinking, "They could put a box here, a box there!" Amazing they can have a producing fig tree in Sweden.
Re: Senseless Banter...
Not really, sanderson, the fig is in a greenhouse, although I think even 10C in the winter it would not be thriving too well. Probably just stop growing during that time.sanderson wrote:Interesting. My problem would be, how do you keep all the glass clean. Pressure washing?

Love it! That would sure make living in New England a lot easier!
Even with open windows it must stay pretty hot in there during the summer. Do they make a convertible one???
