Newbie from deep East Texas
We have only planted a few gardens ever. A friend of our planted a SFG last year and when we saw it, we got books and started reading. We did one 4x4 this year to see how we would do. Very impressed so far. My son checks it every morning and I check it every evening. We planted a few things we have never done before because my kids wanted to. Some of them we realized we planted to late. Like corn. We planted easter weekend and this is where we are today.
This picture is facing north. Across the back from left ot right we have squash and zucchini. Then we have strawberries, lettuce (supposed to be head lettuce), big tomatoes, cherry tomatoes. Next is jalepeno peppers, banana peppers, corn and carrots. Finally we anothe head lettuce, bell peppers and corn.
This is just another angle. To the left is north and to the right is south.
