New from West Texas
Hi everyone! I'm in west Texas, near Lubbock and picked up the new SQF book in Barnes and Noble the other day. Built my boxes, grids, and prepared my soil yesterday. Dropped in some onions, leaf crops, radishes, etc.
I put four 4X4X6" boxes in my garden area. I had great success in gardening at the old house, but haven't the past few years at the new house. The area was used as a dog run by the previous owners, so I figured raised beds would be the best route to go... hence why the SQF book caught my eye the other day.
Gonna start looking around for rebar and conduit over the next couple of weeks. Looking forward to learning more from everyone here!

Hi,
Happy you joined us. You're going to love this SFG gardening. It's so productive and so little work!
Sounds like you have gone at it full steam ahead. You're not going to have to go to the green grocer for weeks!
We're still shoveling snow up here so planting is still quite a way off.
Check the forums often and get to know us. We do a lot of sharing here.
