posting to Hawaii
Yes, happened once. I'll figure out how to do it again (to Hawaii). I'm blaming my slowness on old age. I just made 79 in August. Anyone have a more creative excuse?

Re: Senseless Banter...
Don't worry, I am not giving up. I think of making a snowball, appropriate at this time of the year, when you start rolling it it grows very slowly, then at you keeping on going, it gets bigger and bigger until you have to split Canada into regions just like the United States.sanderson wrote:Kelejan, What are you talking about? You are doing great. It's been all of what, 17 days?
Kauairosina, See, Kelejan also has a very small active group in her Region, Canada. So, no more dilly-dallying. If you build it, they just might post it. (or something like that)
Kauairosina, You won't ever get a big snowball because you are on a small group of islands but I am sure your snowball will grow. Darn, I forgot, you don't have snow.
Must think of something else.Back to the drawing board.
No problem no snow
the metaphor still works.

Re: Senseless Banter...
Now that thanks to yall I now know how to post a picture straight from my computer instead of off our blog I can experiment while posting one of my gardening helper riding herd on a bail of hey.
And follow up with Salvadore Kitties dripping off of lawn furniture.
Ok by boring yall with pet pictures I have now completed my picture posting training and learned that to post more than one I had to go ahead and click upload on the bottom to get the thing to reset. So yey me!!

Re: Senseless Banter...
One black mama cat had 4 black kitties. They are 3 months old and very p;layful and frisky. That among a few other of his pieces is why I call them Salvador kitties.
We were out yesterday working i a new bed I made that Peggy plans to turn into a privacy garden. To kind of section off the part of our yard we use as a cort yard. Between the banana fronds, grape arbor and existing lil shady corner by the compost pile it has become a secluded corner that we spend alot of time in. It's only open on one side and the new garden along with assorted trees and bushes out in the yard will make this corner unseen from the road. It's kind of tough working in the bed with all the help from over eager kitties.
Please forgive me posting all these pussy pictures but its practice to make sure I got the multi technique down. Most of the time I have blogged what I wanna share and can just post the link to there but often I can contribute to a thread from a picture from my computer files.

Loving the pictures Cappy
and loving the kitties in the garden. One of our Maine Coons likes to mess with the pedals when I'm playing the piano and jumps up behind the music (it's a parlor grand) just to keep social/

I must admit that I do not log on to the Home Site but straight to the comment pages, so I missed Boffer's jokes. Now I know of them I can enjoy a quiet giggle.

Re: Senseless Banter...
My wife and I had a small disagreement last Thursday after the 7 inches of snow. I bundled up and drove into town for my cardio class, went to the store for some provisions and then went to the Abby gym to play pickle ball for a couple of hours and then went home. She got the snow shovel out and did the front walk. When I said that at least both of us got some exercise I got both barrels. Was I wrong?
On a very sad note last Friday we had to take our 14 year old lab. for her final ride and the last two days have been really tough. She was a sweetheart and leaves a big hole in our dog and cat family.

So sorry to hear about your dog. But yes, you may be wrong. Unless she enjoys shoveling snow. But who really knows. I bet you had a lot of fun. Did she have fun shoveling the snow or would she have rather had you give up your pickle ball games and come home and help her. But maybe you didn't know she was going to do the shoveling and you would have done it the following day. So again, who knows.

Re: Senseless Banter...
John, The loss of a beloved pet that you have had for many years definitely leaves a big hole. My condolences at this time.
As for the other, at your age, it's good you are watching your heart with the cardio class. My DH goes to the gym 3 times a week. I know that's about an hour. Maybe 1 1/2 hours if he was going to pick up an evening Red Box movie or tomatoes for the salad. If he was gone 3-4 hours, I would ask if he lost his cell phone. Hint: communication. But, as Dear Abby would say, there's not enough info to give any advice. You forgot to mention you were going for a couple hours of pickle game? Severe cabin fever with the snow? You promised to shovel the snow and didn't?

Once the smoke has cleared, you could always ask her how she'd prefer it was handled so you know for next time. I flunked mind reading class so I know that talking works best for me...
So so sorry about you girl. We're so lucky when they adopt us but the time is so short.

Re: Senseless Banter...
JohnP - so sorry to read about your lab - losing a friend is so very difficult.
As for snow shoveling - hmmm - did she know about your planned activities? Did she want the snow gone - YESTERDAY?? As others have said - communication is always the key.
