Hello From Florida
Hey All, Just checking in here. I'm thinking of starting some raised bed gardens due to the limited space I have at my house. Looks like a good place to collect some wisdom.

Hi 9dawgs, to the SFG Forum. check out the hover button on the front page. Do you have a copy of the All New Square Foot Garden Book?

Hmmm, no. What hover button are you referring to? I guess I'm missing it.camprn wrote:Hi 9dawgs, to the SFG Forum. check out the hover button on the front page. Do you have a copy of the All New Square Foot Garden Book?

Ah, got it. Thanks :>) Looks like the link is outdated though because when I clicked on the picture of the book it sent me to a page that said the link did not exist. I just clicked on the "books" link in the left column and it came up though. Just an FYI.

Re: Hello From Florida
9dawgs, Welcome to the SFG Forum. If you haven't already, buy the book, All New Square Foot Gardening by Mel Bartholomew, preferably the second edition. I bought mine used off eBay. You can also try Amazon.com.
I'm a Newbie with a tiny back yard. SFG is perfect for intensive gardening, especially if you use vertical gardening for certain crops. Cantaloupe, smaller watermelons, summer and winter squash, peas and trellis beans, tomatoes are some that come to mind.
Be careful! SFG is addictive!! :D
