New from NW Florida!
Hello everyone,
I just found this website today and am so impressed that I've joined the group. Actually, I went looking for the book online. And finding this website is like instant gratification..lol. We, my dh and I, have somewhat limited space in our yard for gardening and would like something that will be relatively easy to maintain.
After reading the methods on here, it gives me hope that I can plant a greater variety of my faves than I had originally planed to grow. Later this week I'll make my way to the local book store for my hard copy of the book.
Spring fever has definitely got to me and I'm ready to grow! Glad to be here.

Yep... we're invading!
I got mine at BAM as well.. but I had to search a bit, because the whole section wasn't organized, and they had both the old and new versions of the book, as well as the new cookbook... none of them were anywhere near each other!

Welcome to the forum. I have heard that it gets hot and humid in Florida. How does that affect your garden? Do you have more or less bug or plant disease problems than cooler and drier areas of the country? Can you plant a wider variety of plants and do you garden all year? Inquiring minds would love to know.
God Bless, Ward.
