We had one like that, it had another egg inside it, it was truly amazing. New layers are prone to egg oddities. I love eggs and chickens

Lol!
TTT, I've always loved that picture.
The ladies have just started laying again the last couple of weeks after being on vacation/molting since around Christmas. Usually when they start laying again, we get some funky eggs here and there, and sometimes you get a monster egg like this one.

Oops, I couldn't sleep and popped on here. Apparently, my reading comprehension is poor if I don't get enough sleep.
I am getting a new batch of chicks next month after a year off. Can't
wait to get back to it. Hope I don't get any roosters this time, and
definitely not any THAT big.

Hey Kate, sometimes my reading comprehension is poor too, and I can't blame it on lack of sleep. Sometimes stuff just doesn't sink into my brain

Boulder City couple faced eviction for gardening.
Howdy Folks:
A Boulder City couple faced eviction from public housing because of their gardening technique. It was not what they were growing or how they were growing their crops, but, how they dressed while gardening. It seems the woman insisted on gardening wearing only a yellow thong and a pair of pink gloves.
Gardeners everywhere know that yellow and pink do not go together. The yellow draws bees as the bees think yellow means pollen and pink gloves show dirt to well.
A link to the story is in the blog Findlaw.com.
God Bless, Ward and Mary.

That brings back memories. Many years ago, when I lived in Virginia, our neighbor across the street would mow the grass wearing only a red speedo and tennis shoes. To make matters worse, he was about 6'4" and probably weighed 140.

I had a bratwurst patty sandwich with sauteed onions and cheese, and some of my Mom's home-made macaroni salad.
Wow am I full.
