Sticky Suggestion
Greetings Administrators,
A big THANK YOU for your efforts! The new forum is great.
Suggestion:
It seems to me that there are numerous 'new topics' begun on subjects already active within the forum. I would suggest a sticky (or other notification tool) making folks aware and encouraging the use of the search function, to perhaps reduce redundant topic listings.
Warmest Regards.

Re: Sticky Suggestion
Thanks for the feedback. The forum is a work in progress behind the scenes, and we're plugging away at making it better yet.
I've been checking the search function every couple days since the forum started, to watch how the database is growing. It was eerie the first week, when a search would return only one or two hits on a topic! The search in the old forum was so poor, the old regulars don't even think about using it here. If participation keeps growing steadily as it has been, I think the search will become quite effective and worth promoting.
There are some redundant topics, but each draws some posts from different members with different ideas to offer-which means more data for the search!
Thanks for being here.
I think this topic can close.
