Re: trellis & Green Beans
@OhioGardener, how do you secure the cattle panel to the base? Do you just dig it into the mix? or is it somehow attached to the galvanized panels of your beds?

I drove 7' T-Posts (fence posts) into the ground about 2" away from the raised bed, then slid the end of the cattle panel between the T-Post and the raised bed, and repeated on the other side. There is one T-Post in the center of each 50" wide cattle panel. After the panels were in, I used fence clips to tie the panel to the T-Post in 3 places on each post.
These beds are 4' apart, to create room for the arbor. If a person wanted the arbor higher, the ends of the panels could be placed higher on the T-Posts before securing them.
This was the beans on the arbor a few months later.

OG Man, oh man, I love your arches with the beans hanging down for easy picking. When ever I see the fruits hanging down on someone's arches, it just looks so perfect.
Re: trellis & Green Beans
You are right, Sanderson! It is so relaxing just walking through that arbor with the plants hanging down full of fruits just asking to be picked. I often just stop and stand there relishing in the moment. And, even on the hottest day it is so cool in there.
