South West Gal returns to SQF
Greetings from Arizona, Coming off a very hot summer and I am looking forward to the fall garden! I am returning to the square foot garden after several years. When I first started my backyard garden I embraced the square foot garden and I am not sure how it got lost in my quest to grow my own food and save seeds.
Here's to a bountiful harvest!

Welcome back to the fold, Anolan! You are probably entering a good planting time there, as we are winding down here. Glad you are here!

Welcome to the forum from Ohio, Anolan! Here in Ohio we are gearing down for the Fall, but we enjoy seeing the winter gardening from those in the much warmer climates.
"In short, the soil food web feeds everything you eat and helps keep your favorite planet from getting too hot. Be nice to it." ~ Diane Miessler, "Grow Your Soil"

Anolan, Welcome to the Forum from central California.
I have an old college friend that is building his first SFG in the hills above Phoenix. He's been waiting until September to plant starts and sow seeds. Just too hot in July and August.
