This is my first year growing the Beit Alpha cucumbers, and we are loving them. We are picking one or two a day from the greenhouse.

Beit Alpha is the best, in my opinion, followed closely by Muncher. I grow both.OhioGardener wrote:sanderson wrote:Muncher and Beit Alpha cucumbers. Finally, something is ready to eat.

Odd, never have heard of peas not germinating. I planted the seeds the first week of April, after soaking them overnight, and they all sprouted within a week. I may have planted them a little to thick, though. I planted them on the 12' arbor with 3" spacing. They have grown so thick that picking them is a real challenge.

I am going to pick some radishes today and figure out how to give my tomatoes some stand up help before this storm is expected.

Another 2 weeks and they will be done, despite putting up the overhead shade cloth.
