My favorite gardening "tool" discoveries from 2014
Hey everyone. I just wanted to share a tip I learned of recently. They make velcro gripping cable ties. Such as ridiculously simple idea. I bought some on Amazon during a lightening deal offer... here's the full name:
For my tarping project today, these were a life saver. Also I use them to fasten netting to my PVC frames and metal cages. I'm sure most of you already know of these, but for me they were a happy find.
Next to my Orbit SunMate watering wand with fireman grip lever, the ties were my favorite discovery this year. The Orbit watering wand rids one of the need to squeeze a lever to get water. Good for weary hands. Also, I got tired of replacing wands that broke because squeeze lever wore out quickly.
VELCRO Brand - ONE-WRAP Thin Self-Gripping Cable Ties: Reusable, Light Duty - 8" x 1/2" Ties, 100 Pack - Black
