Re: Senseless Banter...
Beautiful mama, boffer! Be sure to show off your puppies to us as they grow. Love those puppy pics.
One of our dogs kept snapping at the male she was to breed with, so the vet did artificial insemination in his office, right on the spot from one dog to another, if I recall correctly. We got a smallish litter -- only four, and I think that's not unusual with artificial insemination.
It's always a big gamble, unfortunately. A lady who used our boy dog to stud had a whole bunch of babies, but most of them died. That's never happened with our boy before. He hasn't had a puppy die before. So we think it probably wasn't his genetics at work. No idea what it was, though. The litter wasn't in our house, and so you can't even really guess. Things happen.
But at least you got two! Let's hope they wind up being healthy and happy and smart.

Re: Senseless Banter...
NO puppies here our dogs are "Broke" some folks call it fixed but the way I see it they were working just fine before the vet got em. We do however have 4 black kittens in the yard.
We are in hopes that they will be as good as their mom is at keeping all the vermin out of the yard. Thanks to her mom and 2 brothers our grape plum pecan etc yield has increased greatly

Re: Senseless Banter...
Cajun Cappy, they are gorgeous! And it's funny, but my DH says the same thing about when he had his dog spayed, that they broke her!

Re: Senseless Banter...
Ok here is a doggy picture this is Beaux(bo) the bratty Bichon helping me put our garden boxes to bed for the winter. This is his normal fluffy self.
Re: Senseless Banter...
This kitten decided while very young that I was going to be her human.
Heaven help me if I go out to the garden without her.
Spottie dogs are good to snuggle with too.

Squeeee!
(That's the noise you make when you fall over and land on the floor, as a result of seeing something that is much too cute!)

LM, I want to hug & kiss him!
Would he spit on me if I kissed him?
Cappy, shaved puppy looks so cute, & 5 lbs lighter! My kinda diet! Just chop off the hair.

Re: Senseless Banter...
...about Ivy League, the llama:
Martha- I don't think he knows how gorgeous he is, but then again we see him posing for the girls now and then then swings his neck side to side and gallops over to the girls side of the fence. At this point then he wags his tail really fast which I have never seen another llama do that. Its pretty cute. Many times we spot him out in the field seemingly looking at nothing yet posing as if he was competing in a show.
Sanderson- he is our favorite one to take off the farm and participate in all kinds of community events. His disposition well, magnificent, he's a pro. Lets everyone hug his neck. He doesn't even need a corral as he will stand with us behind our display table and just observe everything going on around him. Once he made the nurses cry at a nursing home when a patient who no longer spoke anymore began to jabber away when Ivy League showed up.
CC- some llamas are more prone to spitting than others. But this one has no interest in that sort of thing as if the thought never occurred to him. He is nearly 10 years old and has never spit once. He is unusually remarkable overall. I don't think we could ever be this lucky again to have another one like him. And the little stinker has never required any extra veterinary care, he just receives routine shots and stays healthy - knock on wood.

All animals are created equally special, but some still manage to be more special than others!
