you are kidding, right car guy? I was changing those up until last year when we had the fuse box changed out. The numbers are the amps, I think that's what they're called.

Yes you are correct they are fuses and the numbers are for the amp rating. We use to have them on the farm where I grew up. It was just something I go in a email today, saying to have to be a certain age group to remember these things.
