First lettuce harvest
(If this shows up twice, sorry. First try just just vanished.)
After breaking ground on my boxes March 26, I harvested my first lettuce today. We've had heavy rain over the weekend, so it took a while to get it washed since the Mix floats to the top of the water instead of sinking, but here it is, just waiting for suppertime. DH, hurry home! Ain't it purty? Gourmet leaf blend, spinach, cos romaine & red romaine.

We had a gorgeous salad tonite that looked almost exactly like that! I even got a few baby spinach leaves in as well. Yummy, yummy!!

Beautiful! Isn't it fun eating the first of the season? I snack on snow peas yesterday while watering that bed. Only 5, but oh, so delicious!
