Re: moved our beds
Hi GWN. Thank you Soon you'll be out in your garden too! When are you normally able to get going?? I have an iPhone, (my kids made me get it lol) and it has a panoramic setting. It's really easy to use. It comes in handy for stuff like this. A little distortion, but I think that normally happens with wide angles.GWN wrote:thanks for the link SG
You garden is beautiful. You are months ahead of us and I am green with something like envy.
How do you take a panoramic... is it a wide angle lens thing...
I did not know that this thread is about your garden, HOW COOL
When I look back and see we only moved our beds a little over 5 months ago, and how much we've harvested it crazy!! Love my garden! We had a garden "meeting" at our house and people loved walking through it. We have close to 300 sf, but you can make a pretty one with 16 sf too God bless

SG, now you are enjoying the rewards of your hard work, meanwhile encouraging me, for one, to try and make a beautiful area. Working on it!

SG, it looks so inviting. I would certainly sit there each morning and drink my coffee. Simply wonderful!

Really beautiful. I'm trying to figure out the right material I want to use between the beds. Really nice to see a pic with the gravel.

Re: moved our beds
Rose, yes!! that's our corn!! Garden is going coo coo!! The foreground is kale and potatoes underneath. Next bed is several varieties of squash, and watermelons and sweet 132 melons. Next bed with the trellis is tromboncino squash. I'm REALLY excited about that one! I hope to cover the arch, and have a picnic with my grandson under it in the summer! The tall "stuff" in the middle of the pics are tomatoes, Early Girl, Brandwine, Sunsweet gold cherry, and another golden cherry variety. The to left of that is asparagus. In front of the red hedge is a 24' trellis bed. Have gourds, squashes and several varieties of cucumbers hoping to crawl up it! To the left of the corn (I don't know if you can see it??)are lots of Kandy onions. The green by the white barrel is my own variety of kale Some cross pollination boo boo!! LOL. In FRONT of the white barrel are our strawberries! They are covered to keep the birds off. They're doing AWESOME!!

Re: moved our beds
Thank you We do have our morning coffee there. The birds fly in to the baths, then back to the beautiful boganvilla hedge. We also have dinner there lots of times. The arms on the adirondak chairs are thick enough to hold a dinner plate We just love being out there! My grandkids come over a lot and play in the garden. The oldest is REALLY into the garden. He noticed the corn stalks yesterday, and promptly pollinated the corn. There really is another whole garden under the corn! Beets, spinach, carrots, 3 kinds of beans, watermelons and some other sort of melon. Just loving this!! The chips have made all the difference in the world!! wahoo!!AtlantaMarie wrote:lyndeeloo wrote:So beautiful SG! I'd love to have morning coffee there, what a way to start the day!
