Happy Canada day: Canadian garden update
Well wondering how other gardens are this Canada day. I went away for the weekend and mine just took off. Was only gone for about 48 hours, but got home and picked enough raspberries and strawberries to freeze a few litre bags, and peas..... and basil.
The winter squash were looking a little bleak despite their roots being wet, the leaves looked wilted so I watered them more and they looked happy.
Is anyone else growing tomatoes and any ripe ones?? Not me.
Any peppers out there, I have one teensy weensy pepper. How about zucchini?

Mine exploded too! I'm nabbing sugar snap peas everywhere, lots of lettuce, and my cheddar cauliflower is almost ready to harvest!

Yes... TIS the season for peas, however mine are starting to see their ends....turning brown with the hot weather. Cheddar cauliflower, that sound interesting, hope you post photos. My lettuce bolted:(
