Thanks. The flower beds were doing poorly the past couple years till I realized my knowledge during pre-square ft. gardening days included gobs of miracle grow nearly killing off the flower bed soil. I'm pretty happy with the way things are turning around since I stopped using Mir. Grow and applied loads and loads of llama manure and leaves last fall instead. I hope to have enough compost to start applying it this summer too. The worms are back too, but whew, averting dead and salty soil is a nice little victory.
