I am very new to the veggie garden scene and I wanted to know if I can possibly get some plants in the soil this late in the game. I was thinking lettuce, onions and radishes? I live in zone 7 and have a spot about 10 feet by 8 feet in full sun. I already amended the soil with cow manure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated:)

What is your last frost date? There are lots of fall veggies you can plant, radishes and spinach would for sure make it as well as a lot of lettuces and maybe bunching onions too. Depending on your last frost date you can also plant beets, peas, broccoli, cauliflower, swiss chard, you can also plant your garlic now to harvest next year! Welcome to the forum! Are you doing square foot gardening as well?

Margaret
If you have the ANSFG book you can see a full list of what to plant and when for your area based on your first fall frost. Pages 171-177 give more information on how to fall garden?
cheyannarach, thanks for the good info.

Hi Margaret, welcome to the forum. Yes you have time to plant some things. The onions will only end up being green onions.
This link will take you to a tool that lets you know what you can plant now. Click on your region.
