Another Newbie
Greetings from the Eastern Shore of Virginia! I didn't think I was confused about where I was, but after looking at the regions I guess I am. Based on my zip code, I'm in zone 7B. Can someone help with my region assignment? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I bought my sfg book in 1988 and had a small 5 X 8 garden then. I retired in 2007 and it's taken me this long to adjust and get going with my present 22 X 22 garden. I love it!!

Mel's new book for SFG - ALL NEW SQUARE FOOT GARDENING - came out in 2006. There are improvements, especially the invention of Mel's Mix, that make it MUCH easier than all the soil ammending! If you don't have it, that is the place to start.
