Planting my last box and found mold and tiny bugs in the compost I mixed up last week (mixture of 5 store bought) is it safe or do I need to throw it all away. Don't want to risk ruining my whole bed. Should I scrape mold off the top?

It's still safe to use, you can scrape it off or spray with a hydrogen peroxide/water mix. I have used a quart spray bottle filled with water and a couple tablespoons of hp! Very Happy

I would just use it, when the sun hits it and the temp goes up and moisture goes down all will be well.

Mine got moldy under the tarp waiting for the beds to be finished. I just opened it up, stirred it up and let the sunshine kill the mold. Things are growing good.

Mold means the compost is still alive. That is a good thing. Sunshine and fresh air will bring it back into balance.
