dormant strawberry plants

I looked at some other posts but didn't see this questions answered...

I bought 40 dormant strawberry plants at BJs. They were banded together and were all bare root with no growth at all. I planted them all around 8-10 days ago and haven't seen any growth to date. They are in MM, watered, and get plenty of sun...

Anyone have a reasonable time frame for these plants breaking dormancy?

I'm in the same growing zone and had concerns with dormant berries a couple weeks ago, now they are good.

I read and actually posted in that thread... I was just wondering if anyone knew the average dormancy break time for them... Glad yours sprouted, I'm not so sure mine are going to

Those are 2 varieties recommended for my area and may as well be great for your area too. Check your extension service for help too. The extension service will have agents there you can contact, also they put out information you can read online and download too. The extension service is part of your state agriculture college. Each state has one.

They were great for my apple tree selections... I have the large 40 plant pyramid and I also bought a as seen on TV upside down strawberry planter with 15 plants. The upside down one is showing signs of life at 2.5 weeks, my other one no sign yet at 2 weeks.
