WoW! Is that by choice? What do you do for hot water?
Well that stinks, hope things quickly get back to normal NR.
Me too! I should have it taken care of today

Dating myself, but I can remember (barely) when living on the farm that I would have said "what's a hot water heater" Of course we also had no running water in the house. I'm sooooo glad those days are past.

Re: Senseless Banter...
Hey guys. I wanted to at least say thank you for the birthday wishes. I don't check this thread a lot, and just saw them. I really appreciate all the camaraderie on this forum, and wish you all the best growing seasons possible.
Quick summary of my day: Went out the night before. Partook in one too many (not sloppy, just not thinking clearly). A couple of us went to a friend's house that bailed on our plans and covered him with toilet paper (haven't done that in 20+ years). Two and two was quickly put together, and I was blamed. So, voluntarily, I spent the early part of my birthday cleaning up the mess (one thing about getting older, we clean up our messes responsibly).
Casino by noon, where I won $200. Dinner with family. Singing and a couple of small presents by the kids. A play by my daughter at school where I had to remove my autistic child who was having a random meltdown. Night ended quietly with some Big Bang Theory and laughter.
Pretty much ran the gamut. Great day. I actually love getting older because I can do so much more than turning 15.....even though I'm still a 15 year old at heart.
Thanks again, all. Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Furbalsmom. Don't know how to make it fancy yet, but take the intent for the deed if you will. And thanks again for the welcome.

Carve out a dacha plot
Russia
Country houses, or dachas, where 51 percent of city folk spend vacations and summer weekends, almost always feature a garden. Russians grow their own vegetables and fruits and preserve and can what they grow. That makes their diet more nutritious. And 'there's not much you can grow in a garden that will make you fat,' notes Hill.
