Good evening. Just thought I'd register with your site after viewing a lot of helpful information. I am no strange to SFG. I had a simple 16 sq foot garden the first year I moved into my house with 4 tomato plants, 2 egg plants and 2 bell pepper plants and had a decent harvest. The following years I ruined it by mixing my soil with the dirt/wood mix of a grounded stump and burned any plant I put in there.

I decided to start over again since I've started learning to do canning. I hope my fall garden produces what I've got growing in my seed starters. I've got 3 beds put down. Approximately 92" by 28" of planting area. One bed deeper than the other for carrots, potatoes and onions.

My garden will consist of Cucumbers, Okra, Spinach, Green Onions, Potatoes, Onions, Carrots, Green Beans and Green Peas.

Greetings from South Louisiana 396615 Greetings from South Louisiana 396615 Greetings from South Louisiana 396615 Looks nice, I hope all is well where you are. Mel has updated his method and written a new book. I too have been useing the SFG way for a long time now and I must say I have found the new way an improvement. Your garden looks beautiful and will look even better when the seedlings are in. I can't wait to see more pics. We love them here.
