Which corn to plant now in zone 6a??
I have two corn varieties that I can still plant into the second week of July. The first is Early Choice Hybrid which harvests in 66 days. The second is Sweet Sunshine Hybrid which harvests in 76 days. The Sweet Sunshine sounds like it would taste better, but I don't know i9f a 76 day variety would be my best bet. We are doing a very small patch, only 4 small rows, but it is my dd's favorite veggie so we're going to give it a try. I am hoping it will work since fresh corn right off the plant has had such glowing reviews from the corn fans on this board. Any help is appreciated as always!

Personally, I'd go with the early one. I know for myself, I wouldn't want to take the chance of it not making soon enough. The number of days listed is in ideal conditions. I've found it never seems to be the number of days it actually takes.
