I've read a bit about powdery mildew this afternoon and many descriptions seem to say that PM will turn the entire leaf whitish. None of the pics I fount look quite like this. And my leaves are not dying or turning brown. My zucchini leaves have looked like this for a while now, with no increase from what is pictured here.

And some of the leaves (newer ones and older ones) have no white colorig. I have 2 zucchini plants and both are the same. Some leaves have it, others do not.

I have a spaghetti sqash plannted right next to one zuke and those leaves look fine. Nothing on my yellow summer squashes, or my young butternut squash (though they are still very small and in their own containers), or the cukes.

I've read about spraying PM with a milk solution (10% to 50%) and that can help. But I first wanted some other opinions if this is even PM or not.

This may be the normal coloration of your zucchini

Check this link for more details WHITE SPOTS ON ZUCCHINI

Is it powdery and does it sort of wipe off? Might be powdery mildew

Is it the color of the leaf and will not wipe off? Might be the normal color of the zucchini leaves.

Yours looks like a normal healthy zuke leaf!! cheers
This is what PM looks like when it starts Sad if you notice, the photographer has removed the effected leaves from the plant. If I saw this, I would do the same.

If useing milk what I read said to use a 1 part skim milk to 10 parts water and spray weekly. It is said to be a better preventive than a cure. Others have used a baking soda but I am not well versed in this. What even you do I would carefuly remove affected leaves after the dew has dried and dispose of them away from the garden. Be sure to disinfect your snippers and hands afterward.
