Progress
You guys are going to get so tired of hearing from me, sorry.
Yesterday "I" got one of my 4 x 12 boxes filled. I, as in me personally, planted the end with sugar snap peas, filled 4 squares with romaine lettuce seedlings with a cabbage in the center of each.
Today it is raining, but by using Mel's mix I shouldn't have to wait for the ground to dry some to continue my planting, right?
I have 32 asparagus roots that I couldn't get planted yet, so I just stuck them in the other end of the box to stay moist until I can get my permanent bed finished.

Re: Progress
Ill never get tired of hearing peoples stories i like to try to keep up with everyones success and failures and take mental notes for myself sounds like your off to a good start. If the soil is real muddy you might want to wait a little bit for it to drain out as too much water can cause the seeds to rot and fungus to invade. its best to plant seeds when the soil is moist and damp but not soggy and water logged thats why everyone stress's the propper drainage in your mix
