Last Year's Boxes (Cedar)  "First Timer" Empty Last Year's Boxes (Cedar) "First Timer"

I guess you really need that practice "first year" to see what "to do" and "not to do" in SFGing. I made my boxes the hard way. Didn't match up my corners right, had to reinforce them with some L brackets to hold it, but it worked!! I really like the ideas for making covers, so if you've done that keep sending in pics. I'm planning to try that too.
I only have pics of the boxes and some planting my son did, but this year 2010 I will have a load of growth pictures and harvest pictures for you. Thanks for all your cool ideas.

The important thing is you plunged right in and made a start.
I'll bet your son enjoyed being a plantsman. Its wonderful for the young people to see new things growing, something they themselves planted.
