Hello from North Eastern Louisiana
Hello everyone!
My name is Marlon Tomera, I'm 47 Married and have 3 grown kids and 4 grandchildren. I and the wife live in Marion, La. I retired out of the Army after 25 years, and now I am working offshore as an electrician. Me and the wife found Mels book at Lowes in Monroe, La. and became very interested in it from the start. Me especially because now I don't have to till the garden this year Yahoo!!!. Now all I have to do is build the boxes and put Mels mixture in there and start planting. If there is anyone else that lives around my neck of the woods, please drop me a line and let me know. We would love to meet you. Thanks, and take care and good gardening to all.

Welcome
Howdy Marlon:
Sell the tiller and then tell the new owner about how easy Square Foot Gardening is .
Glad to have you on the forum and THANK YOU for your service to our country.
Mary and I lived in Harvey, LA from 1984 to 1987 and I have a brother near Bro Bridge. I sure wish I had known about Square Foot Gardening back then. But I'm here now!
Let us know how your garden grows and what are you going to be planting this year?
God Bless, Ward.
