New gardener in Montana
Hello..I am new to SFG. My sister turned me on to the book and now that I have finished reading I have to admit I am very excited to get started. Who wouldn't be excited about less work in a garden? We just built a new house and I have to get the location of my garden planned and start building boxes. Anyone have any suggestions they which they would have had before they got started?
Look forward to learning from all of you...

advice ? well, really i wish i had heard of sfg sooner! *grin* it really is as easy at the book says - just don't cut corners on the compost/vermiculite/peat moss and you'll have a dream garden for life!

My suggestion....start your compost. Make it a priority.
You never know what you will get in bagged compost. It is OK but I would sure hate to have to depend on it for starting my boxes.
Deborah . . . .Welcome
