the 5 components of Mel's Mix
I guess I'm the new kid on the block... and just finished my first 4 x 4.... and planted some white acre peas, and some black eyed peas... and I haven't ever done any gardening since I was a kid many years ago.... That being said I could not find the 5 ingrediants here in Central Florida. What I did use was:
Black kow compost
organic compost and cow manure (all composted)
Mushroom compost
Miracle grow garden soil
and of course the peat moss and vemiculite
Is this going to work?
Thanks,
Pete

Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades...and SFG.
If you can't find 5, don't lose any sleep.
