Trellis placement INSIDE box?

Everything I have read shows the trellis (rebar/conduit) placed outside of the box. Is there any reason that you couldn't place it in the interior corners of the box. I just think it might look better.

Mine is half in/ half out of the box. It was going to be completely in the box, but I forgot until too late. So now it makes a good play arbor for the kiddies.

Inside works too.

Possible reasons not to:

If it means poking a hole in the weedcloth
The trellis dimensions don't fit
It might disturb the roots if stuff is already planted
Fastening it could be a problem, depending on set-up

Selandra, I think that your SFG is ingenious. Cements blocs - how creative, and the arbor looks great. Did you build the arbor, and what do you grow on it?

I love your garden. The blocks look great. I'm guessing your trellis is the side to an old crib. Whatever it is, it looks great

This is my first SFG and I am so excited about doing it right. My husband was making fun of me for my all my research and determination to do it right, but now that its made and planted, he's really getting excited about it too.
